يُعرض اليوم الخميس 13 نوفمبر ضمن عروض الجالا في مهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي الـ46، الفيلم الوثائقي “ضايل عِنا عرض” (مصر، فلسطين) من إخراج مي سعد وأحمد الدنف، في عرضه العالمي الأول وذلك في تمام الساعة 6:00 مساءً على المسرح الكبير بدار الأوبرا المصرية.
تدور أحداث الفيلم وسط الدمار الناتج عن الإبادة الجماعية في غزة، حيث يرفض مجموعة من فناني السيرك الاستسلام لليأس رغم قسوة الواقع. يتتبع العمل فرقة “سيرك غزة الحر” المكوّنة من يوسف، بطوط، إسماعيل، محمد، وجاست، الذين اضطروا للنزوح من شمال غزة إلى جنوبها، لكنهم حوّلوا فنهم إلى فعل مقاومة وصمود وأمل.
وبينما يخيّم الموت في الخلفية، تواصل الفرقة تقديم عروضها للأطفال في الملاجئ والشوارع، مانحةً إياهم لحظات من الفرح وسط أحلك الأوقات، في رسالة إنسانية مؤثرة عن الإبداع في مواجهة الدمار.
يمثل “ضايل عِنا عرض” التجربة الإخراجية الوثائقية الطويلة الأولى لكل من مي سعد وأحمد الدنف. فـ مي سعد هي صانعة أفلام مصرية بدأت مسيرتها كمساعدة مخرج في عدد من الأفلام الروائية الطويلة والقصيرة، وتعمل حاليًا على إنتاج فيلم وثائقي جديد وتشغل منصب المنتج الإبداعي في فيلم روائي طويل، فيما يُعد هذا الفيلم أولى تجاربها في الإخراج الوثائقي.
أما أحمد الدنف، فهو مصور سينمائي وصانع أفلام من غزة، نال فيلمه القصير “يوم دراسي” جائزة يوسف شاهين في مهرجان القاهرة السينمائي الدولي 2024، وشارك في عدة مهرجانات دولية.

Today: “One More Show” Opens the Gala Screenings at the Cairo International Film Festival
Today, Thursday, November 13, the documentary film “One More Show” (Egypt, Palestine), directed by Mai Saad and Ahmed Aldanaf, will be screened as part of the Gala Screenings of the 46th Cairo International Film Festival at its world premiere at 6:00 PM on the Grand Theatre at the Cairo Opera House.
The film is set amidst the destruction caused by the genocide in Gaza, where a group of circus artists refuse to succumb to despair despite the harsh reality. The documentary follows the “Free Gaza Circus” troupe, consisting of Youssef, Batot, Ismail, Mohamed, and Just, who were forced to relocate from northern Gaza to the south, but transformed their art into an act of resistance, resilience, and hope.
While death looms in the background, the troupe continues to perform for children in shelters and streets, giving them moments of joy amidst the darkest times—a moving humanitarian message about creativity in the face of destruction.
“One More Show” marks the directorial debut of Mai Saad and Ahmed Aldanaf in featurelength documentaries. Mai Saad is an Egyptian filmmaker who began her career as an assistant director on various feature and short films. She is currently producing a new documentary film and serving as creative producer on a feature film, with this film being her first foray into documentary directing.
Ahmed Aldanaf is a cinematographer and filmmaker from Gaza. His short film “School Day” won the Youssef Chahine Award at the 2024 Cairo International Film Festival and has participated in several international festivals.
